Software Engineer Specialist – Integration

About the role

As a Software Engineer Specialist – Integration you will design, build and maintain integration solutions that keep AIA’s systems connected, secure and performant. You will work closely with architects, engineers and business stakeholders to deliver scalable platforms that support both strategic initiatives and daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement integration components that enable reliable, secure connectivity across the organisation.
• Enhance existing integration services to improve performance, maintainability and quality.
• Investigate and resolve integration incidents, contributing to overall system stability.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver solutions that meet expectations.
• Contribute to platform road‑maps and continuous‑improvement initiatives for long‑term integration strategy.

Required profile

• Strong experience delivering integration solutions or C# .NET development in complex environments.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Clear communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with technical and non‑technical partners.
• Analytical thinking and sound judgement to balance quality, risk and delivery outcomes.
• Ownership mindset, capable of managing priorities and sharing knowledge with the team.
