Senior Project / Program Manager

About the role

ANZ is seeking two Senior Project/Program Managers to join its Delivery Practice team. You will lead complex, high‑value initiatives in the banking and finance sector, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage program delivery, including finance, procurement, schedule, inter‑dependencies, stakeholder engagement, risk, and resource planning.
• Monitor program performance and value realization to keep outcomes aligned with strategic business objectives.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, dependencies, and issues across programmes.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative, high‑performing environment.

Required profile

• Extensive experience delivering large, complex programmes or projects, preferably in banking, finance, funds & investments, or regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of project governance and proven ability to apply both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.
• Strategic decision‑making, critical thinking, and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated leadership of project teams and resilience in ambiguous, fast‑changing environments.
