Sales Representative - Building & Construction

About the role

Anzor, New Zealand's leading supplier of stainless steel fasteners with 12 branches nationwide, is looking for a motivated salesperson with technical problem-solving skills to join its Palmerston North team. You will manage key building and construction accounts, grow new business and represent the Anzor brand. Travel includes the Manawatū, Palmerston North and Horowhenua regions.

Key responsibilities

• Help grow the Anzor brand and user base in the building and construction space by acquiring new customers every month
• Identify opportunities, hunt out new business and deliver exceptional customer service
• Drive sales growth and meet revenue targets
• Manage strong customer relationships through outstanding communication skills
• Work well with wider teams and help the branch out when needed

Required profile

• Sales experience and a genuine interest in developing a career in external sales
• Comfortable delivering on, and exceeding, targets
• Existing contacts or relationships in the building and construction sector (advantageous)
• Experience with fasteners or trade-related industries preferred but not essential
• A great sense of humour and strong communication skills
• Tech-savvy, quick to learn and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Full, clean New Zealand driver's licence and eligibility to work in New Zealand
