Project Manager

About the role

Northpower is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of network service projects and fault response work. You will ensure operational, regulatory and customer requirements are consistently met while driving performance, managing risks and maintaining strong stakeholder communication.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver projects and fault work safely, efficiently and in line with operational, regulatory and customer standards.
• Manage the full job lifecycle, including document control, job records and updates to Powerco’s OMS for R2 faults.
• Coordinate materials, resources, subcontractors and required approvals; prepare comprehensive work packs for field delivery.
• Monitor project and fault financial performance by reviewing budgets, forecasts and actual costs, managing invoicing and providing accurate reporting.
• Consistently meet or exceed performance targets and ensure high‑quality customer outcomes.

Required profile

• Strong project management experience, ideally within utilities, construction or infrastructure.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• Proven capability to interpret financial data and manage budgets.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to respond quickly under pressure.
• Familiarity with scheduling systems, reporting tools and relevant industry processes.
• Experience in network operations or fault management is advantageous.
