About the role
The Project Manager will lead multiple construction projects from planning through to handover, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will apply your commercial or residential construction expertise to drive safety, quality, and efficiency across all project phases.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and phase construction projects, establishing realistic schedules and milestones.
- Maintain strict health and safety standards on sites and with subcontractors.
- Develop budgets, manage invoices, and produce financial reports.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and design professionals.
- Coordinate project compliance, inspections, and defect resolution.
Required profile
- Proven experience in residential development, main contracting, or construction project management within New Zealand.
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Ability to oversee project budgets and financial performance.
- High regard for health, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Proactive, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Required skills
- Construction software literacy
- Full NZ driver’s licence
