Processing Officer – Fixed Term, 3 Shifts

About the role
Join NZ Post’s vibrant team as a Processing Officer on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will work at the Strathallan Street branch, sorting, consolidating and dispatching parcels and freight so couriers can deliver them across New Zealand.
Key responsibilities
- Sort and consolidate parcels and freight for timely dispatch.
- Operate within one of three shift patterns, including early‑morning and night shifts.
- Act as Charge Hand when required, overseeing team activities during designated shifts.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment.
Required profile
- Commitment to safety for yourself, teammates and the site.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 kg and perform a physically demanding role.
- Good geographical knowledge and attention to detail.
- Reliable transport to reach the workplace.
