Principal Consultant - Data & Analytics

About the role

Altis is looking for an experienced Data & Analytics leader in Auckland to lead complex data engagements and help build its presence in New Zealand. You will combine technical depth, consulting capability and commercial awareness, shaping solutions for complex client challenges and mentoring consultants while building strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex Data & Analytics engagements and shape architecture and solution approaches for modern data platforms
• Advise clients on data strategy, architecture, engineering and analytics
• Lead quality and technical reviews
• Mentor and develop consultants
• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders
• Partner with the commercial team to identify and shape new opportunities
• Contribute to the continued development of the New Zealand practice

Required profile

• Breadth of experience with meaningful technical depth, spanning data architecture, data engineering, data warehousing and modelling, analytics and BI, modern cloud data platforms, data governance, technical delivery leadership and client advisory and consulting
• Able to move between the boardroom and the delivery team, talking about business outcomes with senior stakeholders and working with technical teams to deliver them
