National Sales Manager - New Zealand & Pacific Islands

About the role

Lavazza, a globally recognised coffee brand founded in 1895 and still family-owned, is recruiting a National Sales Manager in Auckland. The role takes ownership of the commercial and sales agenda across New Zealand and selected Pacific Islands accounts, covering Retail, Foodservice/OOH, distributor management and new business development. It is a senior, market-facing position focused on distribution, revenue and market share.

Key responsibilities

• Drive distribution, revenue and market share across New Zealand and select Pacific Islands accounts.
• Strengthen major customer and distributor relationships.
• Continue the strong retail trajectory and accelerate growth across Foodservice and OOH.
• Develop new business with new and existing partners.
• Identify new opportunities, challenge the status quo and build the foundations for long-term growth.

Required profile

• Commercially driven FMCG leader with a strong track record managing significant customer relationships.
• Strong major retail customer experience; exposure to OOH and Foodservice customers highly desirable.
• Entrepreneurial, customer-focused leader who is comfortable nurturing existing relationships and opening new ones.
• FMCG experience is essential; coffee experience is highly desirable but not required.

Required skills

• Negotiation, ranging, forecasting and promotions.
• Distribution and commercial planning.
• Sound commercial and P&L capability.
