Mid-level Full Stack Software Engineer

About the role

Xe is rebuilding the platform layer behind cross‑border payments for corporate and consumer clients. We are looking for a mid‑level full‑stack engineer who will own end‑to‑end features, from API design and UI to backend services, reliability and launch.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship full‑stack features that move money and manage multi‑currency balances (onboarding, KYC/KYB, payment initiation, FX, settlement, etc.).
• Deliver customer‑facing functionality, covering both the front‑end interface and the supporting services.
• Own production services, ensuring reliability, observability, on‑call duties and incident response.
• Collaborate with product, design and compliance teams from problem framing through launch.
• Use agentic coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or equivalents) daily for prototyping, refactoring, testing and documentation.
• Help modernise legacy components by migrating them to the new stack alongside architects and team leads.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of experience building production web applications end‑to‑end.
• Strong front‑end skills with Vue.js, React or equivalent.
• Back‑end proficiency in C#/.NET preferred; experience with Java, Kotlin, Go or similar OOP languages is welcome.
• Solid SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Experience writing and maintaining automated tests.
• Daily use of agentic coding tools.
• Hands‑on production experience on AWS (SQS, DynamoDB, S3, ECS, Lambda).
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
