About the role
The NHS Scotland team is seeking a Medical Secretary to provide essential secretarial and administrative support to clinicians and members of multidisciplinary teams. This position plays a vital role in ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations within a busy healthcare environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver medical secretarial and administrative assistance to clinicians and MDT members.
- Manage patient correspondence, appointment scheduling, and record keeping.
- Prepare and process clinical documents, referrals, and reports.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to NHS data protection standards.
