Lead (Store Supervisor / 3IC)

About the role

Arc'teryx is hiring a Lead (Store Supervisor / 3IC) for its first store in the South Island, located in Queenstown. Working under the direction of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, you will support the in-store experience during your shifts, champion floor leadership and an exceptional guest experience, and coach Product Guides. The position is full time.

Key responsibilities

• Share brand information and event details with the team and guests, and coach and develop Product Guides to help the store reach its targets
• Support inventory management, including receiving, processing, restocking, destocking and visual merchandising
• Oversee sales targets, labour and budget management, and network with partners to support events and brand engagement
• Manage opening and closing procedures, answer store phones and respond to voicemails and store emails
• Use the POS system to process guest transactions, including warranties, used gear trade-ins, purchases and returns
• Perform additional projects, duties and assignments as required or requested

Required profile

• One or more years of leadership experience and 1 to 2 years of retail experience
• Natural leader who enjoys coaching others and delivering an exceptional guest experience
• Comfortable enforcing health and safety guidelines
• Strong time management, flexibility and written and verbal communication
• Availability to work Black Friday and from the second week of December until the end of the holiday season
