Freelance Mechanical Engineer & Python AI Trainer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with strong Python expertise to join our AI training platform on a freelance, project‑based basis. You will create and validate computational engineering problems that help improve AI systems for leading tech companies.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational engineering problems that simulate real engineering workflows.
• Create Python‑based problem statements requiring numerical methods, iterative solutions, and engineering calculations.
• Develop problems involving system design, optimization, and analysis based on real research challenges.
• Verify solutions using Python and standard engineering libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy.
• Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in applied, research, or teaching roles.
• Strong written English proficiency (C1 level or higher).
• Professional certifications (e.g., CMME, SAS, CAP) and experience in international projects are a plus.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Numerical libraries: NumPy, Pandas, SciPy.
• Familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, or other domain‑specific libraries.
• Understanding of practical engineering constraints and approximations.
