Foreman Carpenter – Lead Small Construction Team

About the role
We are seeking a qualified foreman builder to lead a small team of 1‑3 carpenters on construction sites. The successful candidate will ensure high‑quality workmanship while managing staff and client expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Study building plans and architectural drawings.
- Select appropriate building materials.
- Measure and cut materials to required dimensions.
- Construct building frames and install interior and exterior cladding.
- Fit windows, staircases and doors.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a foreman or lead carpenter.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with staff and clients.
- Ability to lead a team of 1‑3 people and deliver projects to a high standard.
Required skills
- Reading building plans.
- Measuring and cutting materials.
- Constructing building frames.
- Installing cladding.
- Installing windows, staircases and doors.
