Ford Automotive Technician – Auckland

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Ford Automotive Technician to join a busy dealership in Auckland. The successful candidate will work on both petrol and diesel Ford vehicles, delivering high‑quality maintenance and repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and complex mechanical repairs on Ford cars and trucks.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using diagnostic equipment.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and ensure overall vehicle health.
• Maintain accurate records of all services and repairs performed.
• Stay current with the latest Ford technologies, tools and repair techniques.
• Collaborate with service advisors and team members to provide excellent customer service.
• Follow safety guidelines and keep the workshop clean and organised.

Required profile

• 3+ years of dealership experience working on Ford vehicles.
• Proven experience with both petrol and diesel Ford engines.
• Ford factory training or certification preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities.
• High level of English communication skills.
