Food & Beverage Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead the day‑to‑day operations of the Food & Beverage department at Mövenpick Hotel Auckland. The role ensures high‑quality service, guest satisfaction and smooth coordination of the team in a 4‑5‑star hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support daily operations of the Food & Beverage department.
• Lead, supervise and coordinate team members on shift, ensuring service standards.
• Deliver friendly and professional food and beverage service to all guests.
• Respond promptly to guest feedback.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and service standards.
• Train, coach and develop team members to maintain product knowledge and 5‑star service.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
• Support financial performance, including stock management and upselling.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory or team‑leader role.
• Strong knowledge of beer, wine, spirits and cocktails.
• Duty Manager’s Certificate (required).
• Proven experience leading teams in a busy service environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, make independent decisions and resolve issues.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Experience in a 4 or 5‑star hotel environment (preferred).
