Night Auditor – Overnight Front Office

About the role

The Night Auditor at QT Wellington is the overnight host who blends guest service with financial accuracy. While the city sleeps, you will ensure smooth hotel operations, handle check‑ins and check‑outs, and keep the books perfectly balanced.

Key responsibilities

• Complete the night audit process, posting and balancing all revenue accurately.
• Provide seamless guest service, including late‑night check‑ins, check‑outs and handling enquiries.
• Process payments, reconcile accounts and investigate any discrepancies.
• Offer valet parking services, requiring a full, clean driver’s licence.
• Maintain safety, security and smooth hotel operations throughout the night.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve issues with professionalism.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in Front Office or Night Audit within a hotel.
• Strong numerical ability and meticulous attention to detail.
• Full, clean driver’s licence (essential for valet duties).
• Confidence to work independently and make decisions overnight.
• Guest‑first mindset with a natural ability to create memorable experiences.
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends and public holidays.
