Excavator Operator – Join Leading NZ Pipeline Builder

About the role

Pipeline & Civil is seeking an experienced and motivated Excavator Operator to join our growing team. You will work on challenging pipeline and civil infrastructure projects across New Zealand, contributing to high‑quality asset delivery while upholding our strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Operate excavators and related plant safely and efficiently on pipeline and civil construction sites.
• Follow site plans, health‑and‑safety procedures, and environmental guidelines.
• Perform routine equipment checks, basic maintenance, and report any issues.
• Collaborate with site supervisors, crew members, and other trades to meet project schedules.
• Maintain accurate daily logs and equipment usage records.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating excavators or similar heavy plant.
• Full New Zealand driver’s licence with RTW (Road Train) endorsement.
• NZ residency or a current NZ work visa.
• Willingness to undergo pre‑employment health, drug/alcohol testing and criminal background checks.
