Department Manager – Retail (Palmerston North)

About the role

The Department Manager supports the Store Manager in delivering an outstanding customer experience and driving business results for the Cotton On brand. You will own a specific department, ensuring visual standards, inventory processes and brand direction are executed flawlessly.

Key responsibilities

• Own the department’s visual merchandising, trade actions and inventory presentation.
• Coach and develop team members in partnership with store management.
• Provide feedback to improve department performance and achieve sales targets.
• Identify commercial opportunities, resolve issues and enhance the customer experience.
• Promote the Cotton On Group Foundation and lead community impact projects.
• Assist with overall store operations as needed.
