Customer Success Manager, NZ

Job description
About the role
Partly builds AI infrastructure for repairing things, including an AI called Interpreter that helps collision shops and workshops identify the right parts. As Customer Success Manager in New Zealand, you take over after Sales signs a repairer and drive them from signature to weekly active, then turn what works into playbooks, tracking and tooling the whole team can use. You report to the Director of Customer Success.
Key responsibilities
- Activate newly signed repairers: take the handoff from Sales and move each repairer through onboarding, training and placing orders, owning the onboarding plan and timeline.
- Build the activation and retention playbook: document repeatable processes so activation scales beyond one person.
- Set up and maintain clean tracking of repairer health and weekly active users, and systematise manual, repetitive work with light tooling and better process.
- Run regular check-ins, lift usage of key features, spot churn risk early and reactivate dormant accounts.
- Be the repairer's main contact after signature, resolving issues end-to-end with Support and Product.
- Act as the Voice of the Repairer internally, summarising needs, pain points and feedback for Product, Engineering and the commercial team.
Required profile
- Early customer success or account management experience, owning customer relationships, adoption or retention, ideally at a growing company.
- A process and systems builder who turns manual work into repeatable systems.
- Hands-on, organised and scrappy, able to manage many accounts and plans at once.
- Strong communicator credible with repairers, engineers and senior leaders.
- Ownership mindset and high potential in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
Required skills
- Comfortable with dashboards, spreadsheets and a CRM, reading health and usage metrics.
- Light automation or SQL is a plus.
- Bonus: automotive, marketplace or B2B SaaS exposure.
The company covers travel and accommodation for seasonal team events and can assist with relocation costs for candidates moving to join the team.
