About the role
Brackenridge Services is looking for dedicated Community Support Workers to empower individuals with learning disabilities to lead meaningful lives. The role can be full‑time or part‑time and is based on‑site in Christchurch Central.
Key responsibilities
- Provide personalised support to people with learning disabilities, encouraging independence and community participation.
- Assist with daily living activities, personal care, and health‑related tasks as needed.
- Develop and implement individual support plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
- Maintain accurate records and report progress to supervisory staff.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment at all times.
Required profile
- Genuine passion for supporting people with learning disabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends if required.
