Casual Receptionist - Kenepuru Accident & Medical Clinic

About the role

Te Whatu Ora (Health New Zealand) is looking for an experienced receptionist to join the Kenepuru Accident & Medical Clinic (KAMC) on a casual basis. KAMC provides 24/7 urgent after-hours care for sudden, unexpected injuries or medical problems that are not life or limb threatening, serving the Porirua basin with about 36,000 patients per year. The reception team gives patients a welcoming front-of-house service and provides clerical and administrative support to the clinic.

Key responsibilities

• Meet and greet patients
• Maintain accurate data records
• Invoice patients
• Answer and direct incoming calls
• Manage administration tasks as required
• Order radiology referrals

Required profile

• Proven office administration and reception skills
• Strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills
• Motivated, flexible, enthusiastic and a team player
• Able to work in a busy environment
• Availability for a minimum of 1 shift per week

Required skills

• Knowledge of Medtech Evolution is desirable

The role is casual, with a combination of 7- and 8-hour shifts including weekends and night shifts within the roster. The salary range is $67,943-$77,141 (pro rata) depending on experience. Applications are made through the online careers portal.
