Branch Performance Manager

About the role

Humes, founded in 1923 and part of Fletcher Building, manufactures and supplies concrete, pipeline and precast solutions through a nationwide branch network. It is looking for a collaborative, people-focused Branch Performance Manager to strengthen branch capability and performance consistency across its 20 branches. You will work alongside Regional and Branch Managers, providing practical coaching, sharing best practice and turning business priorities into sustainable improvements for people, customers and operations. Regular national travel, including overnight stays, is required.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and support branch leaders to build confidence and capability.
• Develop practical training, improvement plans and career pathways.
• Review branch processes and help teams achieve consistent standards.
• Improve customer service, sales, profitability and operational efficiency.
• Strengthen inventory accuracy, forecasting and financial disciplines.
• Support recruitment, induction and national business initiatives.
• Guide change with care, clarity and strong employee engagement.
• Champion a safe, inclusive and continuously improving workplace.

Required profile

• Skill and experience supporting performance in a dispersed or multi-site team.
• A constructive coaching style and a genuine interest in developing others.
• Experience implementing training, strategies, processes or frameworks.
• Effective change-management and continuous-improvement capability.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in operations, training or a related field.
