Aftermarket Sales Rep - Crown Forklifts Palmerston North

About the role

Crown Lift Trucks New Zealand is looking for a motivated Aftermarket Sales Rep to join its Sales team in the Lower North Island region, following an internal promotion. Based in Palmerston North, the role suits someone early in their sales career who wants to learn, develop commercial skills and build a career with a market-leading business. You will manage your own territory with support from experienced sales and service teams.

Key responsibilities

• Meet customers throughout the region and develop strong relationships
• Identify opportunities, pursue leads and make cold calls
• Help businesses get the most from aftermarket service solutions
• Combine account management, business development and sales growth, with a focus on lasting customer partnerships

Required profile

• No background in forklifts, engineering or the trades needed; recent graduates, tertiary students or people with sales, customer service, retail, trade supply, automotive, hospitality or other customer-facing experience are welcome
• Energy, confidence and a genuine drive to achieve
• Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills
• Strong organisation and time-management abilities
• Initiative, self-motivation and a positive attitude
• Confidence using technology and business systems
