Warehouse Operator

About the role

As a Warehouse Operator you will be central to the receipt, storage, and movement of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring the warehouse runs safely, efficiently and sustainably. You will support Danone’s mission to nourish lives every day while maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, store and dispatch materials accurately, following FEFO principles.
• Conduct cycle counts, stocktakes and investigate any discrepancies.
• Maintain data integrity in SAP/WMS systems and use RF scanners for inventory tracking.
• Operate forklifts safely, adhering to zero‑harm workplace protocols.
• Support inbound, production service and outbound operations.
• Train and supervise temporary staff as required.
• Identify operational issues, contribute to root‑cause analysis and help implement solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations.
• Valid forklift licence.
• Relevant qualification such as NCEA Level 1 or equivalent.
• Strong communication, teamwork and attention to detail.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
