Supply Chain Manager – Food Production

About the role

Zeagold Foods, New Zealand’s leading producer of eggs and egg products, is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead end‑to‑end supply chain operations. Based at either the Dunedin head office or the Drury site in Auckland, you will ensure smooth coordination from farm to depot, supporting both food‑service and consumer markets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and optimise the full supply chain, including demand planning, supply and materials planning, and logistics.
• Develop, embed and continuously improve S&OP processes across the business.
• Drive supply chain optimisation to balance cost efficiency with high‑quality service delivery.
• Collaborate with the Head of Operations & Supply Chain and cross‑functional teams to achieve business objectives.
• Lead a team responsible for day‑to‑day supply chain activities and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing end‑to‑end supply chain functions in a manufacturing or food‑production environment.
• Strong understanding of S&OP, demand forecasting, and logistics management.
• Ability to lead and develop teams while fostering a culture of Lean and continuous improvement.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency.
