Warehouse Operator

About the role

As a Warehouse Operator at ABB’s Napier facility, you will support daily warehousing operations to ensure a smooth and timely flow of goods. You will handle inbound and outbound processes, maintain accurate data in the SAP ERP system, and uphold safety and efficiency across all tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regular transactional tasks such as counting stock and picking items to fulfill orders.
• Execute packing, replenishment, picking, and dispatching activities safely and efficiently.
• Accurately record and maintain inventory and logistics data in SAP ERP.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate material handling.
• Support compliance with SOPs, inventory control procedures, and non‑conformance reporting.

Required profile

• Current Forklift Operator Certificate.
• Demonstrated understanding of warehouse processes and a strong commitment to safety.
• Effective communication skills and confidence presenting to peers and supervisors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP ERP (or similar warehouse management systems).
• Ability to lead small projects and take initiative to improve processes.
• High level of physical fitness and a structured approach to daily tasks.
• Eligibility: New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
