Validation Engineer – New Product Introduction

About the role

Quantifi Photonics is seeking a Validation Engineer to support New Product Introduction (NPI) programs. You will execute product validation and verification activities, ensuring new optical and electronic test instruments meet functional, performance, reliability and release requirements before production launch.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test systems for design validation and production (ATE).
• Plan and execute electrical and optical tests on products such as optical power meters, laser sources and sampling oscilloscopes.
• Develop test automation software using Python and LabVIEW.
• Integrate and control electronic instrumentation via SCPI or similar interfaces.
• Define test strategies, measurement setups and validation procedures for electronic subsystems.
• Analyze measurement results, identify root causes of performance deviations and propose corrective actions.
• Collaborate with R&D, hardware design and manufacturing teams to improve product quality.
• Create clear technical documentation, including test specifications, reports and validation protocols.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in electrical engineering fundamentals and measurement technology.
• Ability to work independently on routine validation tasks and contribute to analysis under senior guidance.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills
