Supply Chain Lead – 12‑month Fixed‑Term

About the role

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead the supply chain function on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis. You will manage one direct report and take full ownership of the company’s import and export operations, with a strong focus on cost control and logistics performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage international freight, container operations and direct shipping contracts with carriers.
• Drive cost efficiencies across the supply chain and optimise 3PL arrangements.
• Oversee high‑volume export pallet movements to Australia and the Pacific Islands.
• Supervise demand planning, procurement, customs clearance and MPI compliance.
• Monitor and improve DIFOT (Delivery In Full On Time) performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing international imports and exports, including container operations.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of reducing logistics costs.
• Experience negotiating with carriers and managing 3PL providers.
• Familiarity with customs clearance procedures and MPI compliance.
• Confidence working directly with senior leadership and commitment to a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.
