Supply Chain Lead – 12‑month Fixed‑Term

About the role
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead the supply chain function on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis. You will manage one direct report and take full ownership of the company’s import and export operations, with a strong focus on cost control and logistics performance.
Key responsibilities
- Manage international freight, container operations and direct shipping contracts with carriers.
- Drive cost efficiencies across the supply chain and optimise 3PL arrangements.
- Oversee high‑volume export pallet movements to Australia and the Pacific Islands.
- Supervise demand planning, procurement, customs clearance and MPI compliance.
- Monitor and improve DIFOT (Delivery In Full On Time) performance.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing international imports and exports, including container operations.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of reducing logistics costs.
- Experience negotiating with carriers and managing 3PL providers.
- Familiarity with customs clearance procedures and MPI compliance.
- Confidence working directly with senior leadership and commitment to a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.
