Senior Finance Partner - Product Development

About the role

Fisher & Paykel is seeking a Senior Finance Partner to embed finance at the heart of product development and innovation. Reporting to the EVP Product Development and dotted line to the CFO, you will work closely with engineers, product managers and global finance teams to drive financially‑grounded decisions for new product lines.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Product Development leaders to evaluate new product investments, ROI and profitability.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting and capital‑expenditure management for the product portfolio.
• Develop and maintain financial models that support strategic direction and long‑term growth.
• Continuously improve reporting tools, frameworks and processes to enhance visibility and accountability.
• Build commercial capability across the product team by influencing decisions and challenging assumptions.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing finance capability aligned with company values.

Required profile

• Commercially astute finance leader with strong technical capability.
• Proven ability to operate strategically in a complex, innovation‑driven environment.
• Excellent influencing, communication and coaching skills.
• Experience partnering with engineering and product management functions.
