Sales Manager – Hamilton, New Zealand

About the role

We are looking for a commercially savvy Sales Manager to be based in Hamilton, New Zealand. You will partner with our local manufacturing customers, both domestically and internationally, to drive sustainable growth and build long‑term relationships. The role offers significant ownership, cross‑functional collaboration and international exposure.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage strong relationships with major NZ manufacturing customers, acting as a trusted partner.
• Develop and execute joint business plans that balance short‑term performance with long‑term growth.
• Lead customer negotiations and influence key decision‑makers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Collaborate across sales, marketing, supply chain and leadership teams in a matrix environment.
• Monitor market trends and customer performance to identify risks, opportunities and white‑space areas.
• Design and implement a Business Development strategy aligned with the Oceania Market Growth Roadmap.
• Support customers with portfolio solutions, ensuring Tetra Pak’s value proposition is clearly communicated.
• Travel up to 25% of the time to meet customers and attend industry events.

Required profile

• Commercially driven with a strong understanding of sustainability and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to navigate complex, matrixed organisations and influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly and work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
