Recruitment Coordinator – Central Auckland

About the role

The Spectrum Group is seeking a proactive Recruitment Coordinator to join its HR team in Central Auckland. You will manage end‑to‑end recruitment for a variety of roles supporting disabled New Zealanders and their whānau, ensuring a smooth hiring experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

Key responsibilities

• Handle the full recruitment cycle for vacancies, from advertising to offer.
• Design and place job advertisements across appropriate channels.
• Screen applications, coordinate interviews, and conduct reference checks.
• Maintain vacancy and applicant databases and perform related administration.
• Collect, analyse, and report on recruitment and HR metrics.
• Support recruitment projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Organise and attend promotional events such as job fairs.
• Provide ongoing support and on‑site training to hiring managers.

Required profile

• Genuine interest in building a career in recruitment.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in recruitment, HR, customer service, call‑centre, sales or administration.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence using social media and networking to attract candidates.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience using recruitment software.
• Familiarity with Snaphire and/or ICHRIS HRIS systems (advantageous).
