Principal Data Scientist – AI Trainer

About the role

DataAnnotation is seeking a Principal Data Scientist to act as an AI Trainer. You will work remotely with state‑of‑the‑art AI models, evaluating and improving their quantitative reasoning on real‑world problems.

Key responsibilities

• Assess AI‑generated quantitative analyses for technical accuracy and practical validity.
• Design and solve quantitative problems that serve as training and benchmark data for AI systems.
• Write clear technical explanations and well‑documented analytical code.
• Provide feedback that directly influences the next generation of AI models.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in a quantitative role (e.g., data science, statistics, economics, physics, biology, etc.).
• Strong English writing skills (native or bilingual level).
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline is preferred.

Required skills

• Coding experience for end‑to‑end analytical work.
• Statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
• Experiment design, including A/B testing and hypothesis testing.
• Regression, classification, and time‑series forecasting techniques.
