Part‑time Warehouse Support Officer – Palmerston North

About the role

Rentokil Initial is seeking a reliable, hands‑on Warehouse Support Officer to manage the Palmerston North warehouse on a part‑time basis. You will own the full stock lifecycle and support the Pest, Hygiene and Ambius divisions, ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage ordering, receipting, storage and dispatch of products.
• Accurately pick, pack and process sales orders.
• Maintain optimal stock levels and report any discrepancies.
• Load and unload deliveries, distribute products internally and support technicians and van drivers.
• Conduct monthly stocktakes and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Keep the warehouse clean, safe and tidy, including rubbish compactor management.
• Perform washbay duties such as emptying and sanitising wheelie bins using a bin lifter.
• Provide in‑field assistance for servicing or installations when required.
• Ensure daily warehouse lock‑up and overall site security.

Required profile

• At least 2 years experience in a warehouse or inventory role (preferred).
• Forklift licence (preferred).
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and an ownership mindset.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems; ERP experience is a plus.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and good physical fitness.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Commitment to health & safety procedures.
