Motorcycle Delivery Agent - On Call

About the role

Join NZ Post as an on‑call Motorcycle Delivery Agent, working Monday to Saturday between 6 am and 2:30 pm. You will be the face of the postal service in the community, delivering mail and parcels on a motorcycle or on foot, rain or shine.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and sort mail and parcels at the Palmerston North depot.
• Deliver items to customers using a motorcycle or on foot, following the assigned route.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure parcels reach the correct recipients.
• Uphold health and safety standards for yourself and fellow team members.
• Provide friendly, reliable service that enhances customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Available to work on‑call, Monday‑Saturday, 6 am‑2:30 pm.
• Reliable transport to arrive at the depot on time.
• Physically fit for a demanding role that involves lifting and walking.
• Strong numeracy and literacy to handle addressing information.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality service and adhering to safety protocols.
