Customer & Operations Agent – Rental Services

About the role

Join Avis Budget Group at Wellington Airport as a Customer & Operations Agent. This full‑time position blends front‑of‑house customer service with back‑of‑house vehicle handling, offering a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with customers at the rental counter, promote products and services, and process rental transactions, contracts and bookings.
• Inspect vehicles for damage and maintenance issues, drive and park cars, and clean interiors and exteriors in the wash bay.
• Use computer systems to accurately input rental information and maintain records.
• Follow company procedures and standards, including health and safety guidelines.

Required profile

• Full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s licence.
• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, customer service or a similar role.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and deliver exceptional service.
• Willingness to work a rotating roster covering weekdays, weekends and public holidays.
• Commitment to follow procedures and company guidelines.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy to operate rental management systems (training provided).
