New Zealand Country Manager

About the role

The leading online gambling operator is looking for a dynamic New Zealand Country Manager to drive brand growth and customer acquisition across the region. You will be the local champion of the brand, adapting global positioning to the NZ market and leading all marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans for brand building and acquisition marketing.
• Manage above‑the‑line media channels including TV, radio, sponsorships, print, out‑of‑home and PR.
• Oversee digital and performance‑based marketing in collaboration with internal and external agencies.
• Build and maintain relationships with local media agencies, creative partners and production houses, handling selection and commercial negotiations.
• Own the annual marketing budget, set targets and ensure ROI through rigorous analysis and reporting.
• Adapt global brand assets to the local market and create bespoke campaigns.

Required profile

• 5+ years in a senior marketing leadership role, either agency or client side, within a high‑transaction volume industry.
• 3+ years of B2C online gaming experience in New Zealand.
• Proven track record of launching new brands and achieving rapid growth.
• Deep knowledge of the New Zealand advertising and media landscape.
• Hands‑on experience managing large above‑the‑line budgets and end‑to‑end campaign ownership.
• People‑management experience, including recruitment, training and development.
