Key Account Manager – Independent Channel (Pet, Vet & eCommerce)

About the role

As an Independent Channel Customer Development Manager, you will own the growth of Hill’s Pet Nutrition’s brand across independent pet, veterinary and e‑commerce accounts in New Zealand. You will translate brand strategy into actionable sales plans, secure premium shelf space and accelerate new‑product distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual business plan for pet, vet and e‑commerce accounts, meeting sales targets and ROI goals.
• Drive commercial planning, forecasting and investment allocation using the ATLAS system.
• Maintain premium shelf visibility and manage rapid rollout of new products.
• Provide performance updates to the Country Manager and contribute to process improvements.
• Administer claims, invoices and other commercial documentation with high accuracy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in FMCG, pharma or pet/vet industries with a focus on key‑account management.
• Strong analytical ability to turn data into strategic insights.
• Comfortable working with Excel and ERP tools such as ATLAS.
