Account Manager – Auckland North

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Account Manager to join our NZ sales team in Auckland North. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will drive growth for our Oyster Bay and Barossa Valley Estate wine brands and manage a portfolio of grocery, liquor and on‑premise accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business growth through high‑quality sales and distribution.
• Manage existing accounts and prospect new multi‑channel relationships with grocery, traditional liquor and on‑premise customers.
• Work towards sales targets, execute brand plans and educate customers on product features and benefits.
• Complete weekly call plans and share market feedback with the team.
• Collaborate with a highly driven global team and contribute to continuous learning about the industry and market opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in alcohol, beverage, consumer goods or FMCG.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Attention to detail and ability to influence outcomes with sound reasoning.
• Ability to develop distribution objectives and execute programs that drive sales.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a “winning together” attitude.
• Self‑awareness, openness to feedback and commitment to personal development.
• Commercial awareness of business drivers and industry trends.
• Full, clean driver’s licence and willingness to travel, including 2‑3 overnight trips per month.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
