IT Support Technician – Entry Level

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Information Technology Support Technician to join our team in Feilding. This full‑time, on‑site position is ideal for an entry‑level professional who enjoys troubleshooting a variety of hardware and software issues in a fast‑paced veterinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical support for MS365, desktop computers, printers and network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the Practice Management System used by veterinary staff.
• Maintain and configure hardware, install software updates, and ensure reliable connectivity across the clinic.
• Document incidents and solutions in the ticketing system and communicate status to end users.
• Collaborate with remote team members to resolve complex problems.

Required profile

• New Zealand residency with a clean full driver’s licence.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with staff and stakeholders.
• Proven problem‑solving and troubleshooting aptitude.
• General IT or computer science tertiary education, or equivalent training/experience.
