Intermediate C# .NET Core Software Engineer – Business Systems

About the role

Join Trimble’s Business Systems team in Christchurch as an intermediate Software Engineer. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable C#/.NET Core applications that form the core infrastructure for Trimble’s global customer and partner ecosystem. The role works with Azure cloud services in an Agile Scrum environment that values innovation and work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement high‑quality, scalable software solutions using C# and .NET Core.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex defects and systemic issues.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and ship new features worldwide.
• Write and maintain automated tests to ensure reliability and quality.
• Participate actively in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in C# and the .NET framework, especially ASP.NET Core and Web API.
• Experience with Azure cloud architecture and services such as Container Apps, Service Bus, Functions, and Azure SQL.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
