DevOps Manager

About the role

We are looking for a forward‑thinking Development Operations Manager to lead a geographically distributed team of DevOps engineers across three product development locations. You will combine people management with strategic technical leadership to deliver premium developer infrastructure tooling for on‑premises and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a distributed team of DevOps engineers, fostering collaboration across three sites.
• Define and execute the strategic roadmap for developer infrastructure tooling, balancing on‑prem and public cloud investments.
• Partner with product development, platform engineering and security teams to align infrastructure priorities with business objectives.
• Own project planning, resource allocation and delivery timelines for infrastructure initiatives.
• Establish and refine engineering standards, operational runbooks and incident‑response practices.
• Champion CI/CD pipeline reliability, build system performance and improvements to developer experience.
• Manage hybrid infrastructure strategy, including capacity planning, cost optimisation and cloud migration decisions.
• Drive adoption of infrastructure‑as‑code, observability and automation practices across the organisation.
• Report on team health, delivery metrics and infrastructure KPIs to senior leadership.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure or platform engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in a people‑management role, leading distributed teams.
• Proven success managing DevOps initiatives in complex, multi‑site environments.
