About the role
We are seeking an energetic, people‑focused HR Manager to lead our people strategy at Hotel Indigo Auckland. You will shape exceptional employee experiences, drive engagement, and influence business outcomes in a vibrant boutique‑hotel environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition to off‑boarding.
- Design and deliver onboarding experiences that reflect our brand story.
- Oversee HR systems, employee relations, and payroll support.
- Champion wellbeing initiatives and foster a high‑performing workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with NZ employment and health‑and‑safety legislation.
Required profile
- Proactive, strategic mindset with a genuine passion for employee experience.
- Generalist advisory experience, preferably within hospitality.
- Strong relationship‑building, influencing and communication skills at all organisational levels.
- Solid knowledge of New Zealand employment and health‑and‑safety legislation.
Required skills
- Experience with HRIS platforms.
- Payroll system proficiency.
- Recruitment platform expertise.
