Highly Skilled Production Worker – Glasswool Line

About the role

Join Comfortech’s 24/7 glasswool production line in Penrose, where you will ensure that insulation products meet ISO9000 quality standards and that production data is accurately recorded. The role is ideal for a motivated operator with strong technical skills and hands‑on experience with automated machinery.

Key responsibilities

• Set, monitor and operate modern automated handling and packaging machinery for various product specifications.
• Troubleshoot machinery and automation issues to minimise downtime.
• Assist the Team Leader with product changes and line adjustments.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in the wool‑line area.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Production Operator, preferably in plastic injection moulding or steel manufacturing.
• Proven experience setting, adjusting and calibrating curing ovens and production machinery, with strong troubleshooting ability.
• Physically fit, committed to health and safety, and holder of a full driver’s licence.
• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with a hands‑on problem‑solving approach.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
