About the role
KONE is seeking a Field Service Manager to lead its South Island Service Team in New Zealand. Based in Dunedin, you will supervise maintenance technicians, ensure high‑quality service delivery, and build strong customer relationships across the region.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, schedule and deliver repair and preventive maintenance works for elevators and escalators.
- Monitor material inventory and manage technician rostering.
- Lead performance management, skill development and shift coordination for the team.
- Spend time in the field to develop business relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and uphold safety standards.
Required profile
- Experience in construction, facilities management or vertical‑transport industries.
- Demonstrated team‑leadership and coordination of maintenance activities.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
