Field Service Diesel & Auto Electrical Forklift Mechanic

About the role

Join SG Equipment Ltd to keep industry moving by servicing and repairing Yale forklifts. As a Field Service Diesel & Auto Electrical Forklift Mechanic you will work on‑site, providing expert maintenance for both diesel‑powered and electric forklift models.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, diagnostics and repairs on diesel and electric forklifts.
• Identify and resolve electrical faults and engine issues on Yale forklift equipment.
• Maintain accurate service records and report on job completion.
• Travel to client sites across the Napier Central area to deliver timely field support.

Required profile

• Qualified diesel mechanic or auto‑electrical technician.
• Experience servicing industrial forklifts, preferably Yale models.
• Ability to work independently on‑site and adhere to safety standards.
