Experienced Front of House Team Member – Café

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Front of House (FOH) team member to join our close‑knit café team on Brougham Street in Columbus. The role involves serving customers, preparing cabinet food, table service, clearing tables, cleaning and dishwashing, with occasional assistance in the kitchen.

Key responsibilities

• Serve customers and provide friendly, efficient table service.
• Prepare and present cabinet food items.
• Clear and clean tables, maintain a tidy dining area.
• Wash dishes and support kitchen cleaning tasks as needed.
• Operate coffee equipment; barista experience preferred.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar hospitality or customer‑service role.
• Strong work ethic, punctual, reliable and well‑presented.
• Positive attitude, resilience during busy shifts and ability to multitask.
• Effective communication with team members and customers.
• NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
