Enterprise Security Architect

About the role

The Enterprise Security Architect will report to the Director of Cybersecurity and lead security for a major digital transformation programme. This hands‑on strategic position shapes the organisation’s approach to Information Security, Electronic Security, Identity & Access Management and Privacy, ensuring that new systems are built on strong, future‑ready foundations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and align security strategy across information, electronic, IAM and privacy domains.
• Guide the application of security controls in the design and delivery of new platforms and systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed security early in project lifecycles.
• Influence enterprise architecture practices through a Community of Practice and promote design consistency.
• Advise senior leadership and contribute to the Cybersecurity Leadership team.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect with a focus on security strategy.
• Deep enterprise‑level knowledge of Information Security, Identity & Access Management and Privacy.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder‑management skills to gain buy‑in across the organisation.
• Broad understanding of technology products and services that enable business outcomes.
• Technical depth in security product implementations and experience working with vendors.
