Senior Delivery Manager

About the role

Catch Design is seeking a Senior Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of complex digital projects for some of New Zealand’s most recognised brands. The role combines calm leadership, strong delivery craft, and a passion for high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of high‑profile digital projects, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget, and high‑quality results.
• Own project planning, scoping, estimation and scheduling.
• Proactively manage risks, dependencies and blockers.
• Serve as the primary client contact, providing clear communication and managing expectations.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, strategists and specialists to ensure seamless delivery.
• Support resource planning with the Delivery Lead and champion "The Catch Way" delivery standards.
• Maintain project documentation, reporting and governance, tracking budgets and scope changes.
• Contribute to pitches, scoping and proposals for new business.

Required profile

• Based in New Zealand and able to work from the Auckland office.
• 5+ years experience in digital project management, production or delivery.
• Proven experience in a digital agency or consultancy environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to build trusted client relationships.
• Experience working in cross‑functional teams with designers, developers and strategists.
• Commercial awareness, including budget management.
