Enrolled Nurse – Part‑time (Hamilton, NZ)

About the role

Join Summerset’s Hamilton village as an Enrolled Nurse on a permanent part‑time basis. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will provide clinical and personal care to residents, helping create a warm, homelike environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver resident care, including medication administration, vital‑sign monitoring and accurate documentation.
• Support and guide caregivers to ensure consistent, high‑quality care delivery.
• Draft and contribute to resident care plans under RN supervision.
• Monitor resident wellbeing, identify risks, report issues and follow infection‑control protocols.
• Complete assessments, assist with examinations and provide culturally appropriate education to residents and families.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and the wider clinical team.

Required profile

• Enrolled Nursing Diploma and current NZ registration with a practising certificate.
• Positive “can‑do” attitude and genuine interest in working with older people.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Emotionally resilient, strong team player.
